Coutume Cafe, 47 Rue de Babylone, 75007 Paris. Go.

Excited to finally post some photos from a recent trip to Paris! It has been a couple years since I had visited, so it was great to get reacquainted with the city. We stayed in a charming loft close to the Seine and convenient to a really cozy cafe called Cafeotheque where we went for cappuccinos every morning, naturally. Take a look on this google map I created to see what other sights and restaurants we visited. Who am I kidding, everything on that map is a cafe. I recommend having breakfast at Coutume Cafe and trying to get dinner at Frenchie if you go!

I recently went on a beach vacation with my husband’s family to Florida, where we go every year to gather, eat, play games and get some sun. This year was one of the best, although a few cousins didn’t make it who were out of the country or busy with school. I wish I could spend more time here with everyone and can’t wait for next summer when we return!

Here are some photos from a recent trip to NYC! Although it is strange going back as a visitor, it’s great to see friends and feel the life of the city again. These were taken between meals and hangouts all over Harlem, East Village, and Brooklyn.

I recently visited the very talented florist Sarah Ryhanen at her studio in Brooklyn, small and bursting with nature’s seasonal bounty, and snapped some shots of whatever beauties she was creating that day. Her company is called Saipua, and in addition to inspiring us all with the loveliest flowers in the world, some of which are grown upstate at her farm, they also craft olive oil-based small-batch soaps that are hand-cut and cured in her New York workshop since 1999. Scroll down to fall in love.
